[She's quiet for a little while, the texting rate slowing. It seems like this anonymous person must be young, possibly her age. They wanted to enroll in school, and have no dating experience. So to lose somebody he or she loved meant that person was also very young. The trepidation to share that kind of love and intimacy with anyone else is completely understandable. No wonder Iris was the last option they wanted.]
She must have been wonderful.
I don't want to ask too much if it's painful for you. But I also feel like it helped me a lot to share the good memories of a person I lost too. I wanted to talk about him with a smile, so other people would get to know the person I was lucky enough to have in my life.
So if you want to talk about her, I wouldn't mind listening. And if you're not ready, that's okay too. We can talk about other things.
Ha ha, I'm sorry! I wanted to make sure I didn't say something reckless.
[She appreciates the subtlety. He doesn't want to talk about her, not yet. But he hasn't been blunt or said it in a way that would cause her shame.]
I'll probably be up for another hour, I have some assigned reading for my new classes. There's a lot of catching up to do. I hope your new school experience was fun!
Don't worry, I'm keeping a good pace while talking with you! Texting is very convenient for doing schoolwork and then taking a break to neglect it.
It's kind of a lot, but I knew it probably would be when I signed up for classes near the end of the school year. It's fascinating, though, so I don't have to make many flash cards except for new terms.
[Which is a lie, she's kind of prioritizing their conversation over reading. But what else should she talk about? Nothing heavy, probably. He isn't comfortable with opening up too much yet, and if she kept talking about her own problems, it would be one-sided and not mutually beneficial.]
[Huh... Lelouch is in her P.E. class, so this can't be him. She kind of wondered if it might be, but it seems there's another Moonblessed there she hasn't met yet. Is he worried about her, then...?]
I suppose so. I think it's fun!
But you're right, the element of surprise would be completely lost if I kept doing it.
It is! You just can't hold or catch the ball. If you wanted you could kick it too, or use your elbows, or your butt, but there's not much control there.
[She's too nice to tell him he would have learned this if he'd taken P.E., especially since it's not really important to anything if he's never going to play volleyball.]
Yes! I made sure to take classes I wouldn't struggle in too much, like history or geography since I'd have to cram a lot for those. Math and home economics are easy, and kind of universal, even if I'm learning about new ingredients.
Crystals turned out to be REALLY fun. It's about learning how to read fortunes and tell the future! It wasn't at all what I was expecting.
What about you? Which classes are your favorite so far?
Mathematics here isn't any different from Earth's, although Chemistry is new. I'm rather enjoying learning about these different elements that exist solely on this planet.
That must mean I'm in a lower science class than you, we haven't covered anything like that yet! Does it talk about which elements make you float if you ingest them?

That's why being intimate now is not a priority.

How long ago did it happen?

I'd prefer not to say.

Thank you for telling me this much.

[ Another lie. He's caught on as to who "MegaRobo3000" really is... ]
It's getting late, though. Don't you think? For a second there, I thought you'd fallen asleep on me.
[ A joke that he only finds funny. ]

[ It's getting late, Lelouch says, but he doesn't really sleep until maybe 2-3 AM, only to wake up at 6 AM on normal days. ]

But if you need to go, we can talk later.

I may just reply slower than usual.

I got a goal in volleyball with a headbutt!

I joined an organisation that made me exempt in P.E..
That's good, though. But I don't think you're supposed to do that.
no subject
Ha ha, probably not! But everyone else was so surprised that they were slow to react. Point!
no subject
Maybe try not to do it again, though.

I don't think it's a legal play, either.

Is that... something you've wanted to do? Float around? [ This raises so many questions... ]
